With OndoSense radar sensors, the distance to the drilling surface or between the drilling tower tip and the drilling unit can be determined quickly and accurately. This allows the drilling rig to be precisely aligned and the penetration depth of the drilling unit to be reliably determined. Furthermore, dust, rain, smoke, steam, vibrations or extreme temperatures have no influence on the high measurement accuracy and output rate of the radar measurement during the drilling rig positioning.
