Our radar sensor offers the highest precision and speed, a wide measurement range – and much more.

Maximum precision

Our radar sensor offers the highest measurement accuracy: Benefit from a precision of ±1 mm and a measurement repeatability accuracy of up to 1 µm in Maximum Precision mode!

Wide measuring range

Our distance radar sensor is great for close-range measurements. In addition, the OndoSense apex offers a wide measuring range from 0.1 m to 8 m (more possible on request).

Attractive & practical UI

Our browser-based configuration software offers a user-friendly GUI with many practical features e. g. the "Peak Finder", which lets you select the peak that corresponds to your target object very easily.

High measuring rate

In some applications, the measuring rate can be decisive: With the OndoSense apex distance radar sensor, you will benefit from a high measuring frequency of 300 Hz and more.

Very narrow opening angle

With an opening angle of only 4 °, which is very narrow for radar sensors, our distance sensor enables focused and reliable measurements with minimal interference.

Established interfaces

Benefit from high-performance industrial interfaces for data transmission: analog current loop (4–20 mA), digital switching outputs (3x push-pull), serial (RS485) and Profinet (via gateway).

The OndoSense apex radar distance sensor stands for highly precise and reliable measurement results – even with dirt, smoke, steam, rain, snow, poor lighting conditions, flashes of light or rough surfaces. With its dust-tight, jet-proof housing (IP 67 / IP 69K) and its resistant PTFE lens, our robust distance radar is the ideal choice for challenging production environments.

You would like to use our radar sensor for distance measurements in extreme conditions – e. g. in the metal industry? No problem! Our optional heavy-duty housing offers maximum protection via water cooling and compressed air supply. This enables reliable measurement results even in the harshest settings.
